Ousman Sowe was one of hundreds of HIV/AIDS patients treated by former Gambian president, Yahya Jammeh personally with his herbal 'AIDS cure' - known as the Presidential Alternative Treatment Program (PATP). Jammeh's AIDS treatment proved to be a dangerous hoax, no one was cured, and a number of his patients died.
