Russian born Julia Nitsberg holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design and for the last decade has created multi-media sculptural installations, assemblages and wall drawings exploring a range of political and socio-cultural issues. Via irony, speculation and criticism she scavenges ideas from language and art history and juxtaposes different realms, which allows multiple layers of interpretation.
